RockShox was wise enough to realise that most riders don't want to spend half a season dialling their fork in. The Lyrik Ultimate comes with a damper with lower number of clearly defined settings for compression and rebound. Less mucking around to get the perfect ride.
For Charger 3.1, RockShox has improved bushing tolerances, off-the-top fork sensitivity and increased the damping range. This means it can be dialled in for riders all along the weight spectrum.
